[The small hunting isn't so difficult. He sniffs Matt out while everyone is looking for the bodies, and there's not much surprise to see Matt still in low spirits because of Orion.

He tells Matt he needs to talk to him in private. Gives him a place just outside of the mansion, not super hidden, but not in view. If Matt takes the invitation, Jason will be waiting; casually, hands pocketed, though considering this is Matt, he'll likely notice Jason's nerves are a bit edgy. His breathing is regulated, but his heart is jumpy. Adrenaline.]

Shit. [There's genuine surprise in Jason's voice. He's quiet for some time, the shift of his shoulders means he's looking around.] Do you think that's what got him killed? [Maybe. But that'd mean he was in with the wrong people, then they new he blabbered when Matt came forward.]

The boy might not have worked alone. Someone could have shot him, and he could have used the sword. Or vice versa. There's quite a few of them who know each other. Then again, if they're being forced, he may have had no choice in the matter. He could have worked with someone completely different.

[so Orion's suspect pool isn't particularly narrow, for Matt.] And I wasn't the only one who discovered his lies - some of them, anyway.

There could be other roles. I'm sure there's more murderous ones than helpful ones, honestly. Or there could be a few helpful ones who feel the need to show favoritism to their friends. Turns out, their friends are assholes. [Another shrug from Jason.]

Never know, someone might just be batshit crazy. Might enjoy the thrill. I've met quite a few of those myself from home. Personally. Some people are just sick.

Anyway, the other thing I can offer: there's going to be a list. By the entrance in the mansion. From the Foxes. If you can't find anyone to read it to you, find me. I will.

Foxes say she keeps Ivan here to do the Overseer job, that Ivan has tried to kill her before and failed. It could be as much of a ruse as anything else.
