... I'd say "this is all a dream" seems too easy, but I spent months trapped in a computer simulation. Being trapped in a nightmare might not be too out there.

Just a weird theme to have for no reason. But I guess anything in this fancy shithole is possible.

Let's not put a whole lot of stock into that until we know for certain. It'd be pretty shitty to die, potentially break this weird ass vague contract, and forfeit a life.

But we should probably keep it in mind while we're looking around.

The weirdest thing for me in relation to it is what the contract says about termination. The one that sounded like a clue. Being able to come back from the lobby?

It's just weird.

It also implies if you're alive and can't get to the lobby, you're still losing.

If you "die" and wake up, you're not technically dead, right? Just awake. Maybe you can get back to the lobby from whatever side that is.

But I mean, I get you.

Yeah. There's that part. Considering dead people have come back every time, that seems likely. I just think it's also possible there's a trick to it so the lobby won't be easy to access for the living, either. Call it a loophole in the contract. They didn't guarantee the lobby would be accessible in it.

Where are you going to start? Should we start straight with the Nightman? Try to get them out? Do we WANT them out?

The staff keep acting like we can get more out of them later, but then they signed an NDA. So I don’t know how far that’ll get us. Do we just keep talking to them? I hate small talk and schmoozing, but if I dealt with Black Mask, I guess I could deal with it here.

Until we know a weakness, might not be for the best to do anything with Nightman. We learn more first.

Back in the Realm, we could tell people more every week because we learned more. Might be this is just the NDA equivalent of that. They can share stuff depending on a strict timeline. So if they say we can get more out of them later, then we try.

I didn't even like it when people came to me for that stuff, so we're in the same boat there.
