Why are you so interested in finding killers? Instant gratification? Because I don't know about you, but finding killers wasn't in the contract I signed.

I don't ever remember whatever bastard has us here saying they wanted to be entertained by a murder mystery for eight weeks. But maybe I missed the fine print because I was apparently, you know, asleep.
It does make me feel better, actually. [ a bit dryly but it's true ] What's the alternative? Kill off the unpopular people or every goody two shoes that volunteers for death?
But most of us have been going based on our previous experiences. And in my experience, you'd get benefits from getting it right. So... Whatever. Maybe you're right. But I don't see a better option.
