[Going to ask where Aikawa is, wondering if it's going to be food related. They are probably running into each other at the school, if Aikawa is visiting. Because Jason is nosy and wants to look around.]
[ Come have a nice burger or sandwich or nuggies or whatever. ]
Welcome to Wiwaldi! The most normal-looking place since that one camp, but probably even better 'cause I sure don't remember Wiwaldi having a goddamn devil cabin.
[ It is simply the easiest pleasure to obtain. Also he has to maintain this big body somehow. ]
Hey, there's literal devil cabins where I'm from, so the standards are different. I think my new school is built out of an old devil worship house actually, but the interior is pretty nice?
[He will look at the foodstands, yes. This feels very Aikawa.]
The bar here is so low it's in the ground, Big Guy.
[There is no good way to say stardust happens, only that Jason is almost instantly on edge when it appears. He grabs Aikawa like he plans to try shoving the other man away, but he does not get that far.
Instead, he shares a memory that I don't even know if your region will let you read. If not, it's #5 of Red Hood and the Outlaws (2016). We pray there are no viruses.]
[ It ending on a thought bubble of him sassing the shit out of Black Mask is destroying me. But anyway, Aikawa is startled when he's suddenly grabbed, and there's a bit of a 'hey --!' starting, but instead, he gets all these memories.
In the same breath, though, Jason can get one back...
Of vague consciousness. Of knowing what's happening around him, but barely. Like falling in and out of sleep, like when you go in and out of consciousness after an accident.
What had happened to him? He doesn't fully understand it. He had walked up to two strangers about to step through a door, asking them to let him pass with them. They accused him of something. He denied it.
'Prove it, then.'
He couldn't, so they beat him to death. He doesn't even remember how it felt, except for the neverending black nightmare that followed. Empty consciousness, steeping in bitter misery, loud whispers endless.
Waking up one day, finally, to find everything he knew was gone, not his home, not the hospital, not the city he knew, not his very body. In a haze, he'd wander, unused to the strength in his body that he doesn't remember building, head permanently aching, the smell of industrial and blood always lingering about him.
But he has a home, a dinky little apartment, and it's in the Sorcerers' World. On the table, there is a mask, the very sign of being a sorcerer. He doesn't remember where he got it from, but he knows it's his -- for him. All signs clearly point to who and what he is, and from there, he picks up the shattered pieces.
...and it ends, Aikawa finally receiving the rest of that shove as he falls to the ground. ]
The memory is actually unsettling familiar, but Aikawa will have to get that one later. Being dunked in the Pit hadn't been all to different than waking up from the grave and not knowing yourself, brain scrambled eggs, sauntering around full of this peculiar rage.
He has a mask, too, later. A hood. A helmet. Scarlet red.]
--Uh.
[He's startled, but feels bad about the shove. So he already is trying to offer his hand out.]
Okay, well, not the most terrible one I could have given you. You okay?
Ow... uh, yeah. Oof. [ Holding his head, but then extending that same hand to Jason since he's trying to keep his otehr arm stress-free where he can. ]
Yeah, I'm fine. You good? Fuck, these things are -- wild. The hell was all that about...
[ And then there's this weird, abrupt thing that happens --like he almost just threw up bile but barely stopped it, except whatever thing drips from the end of his mask is weird and black. He hurriedly covers it with a hand at any rate. ]
He doesn't jump back so much as draw his arms away a bit, unsure. Don't throw up on his arms, man. But it's--weird? WHY IS IT BLACK? That's a health concern where he comes from?!]
[SCREAM. Jason seems mostly a little weirded out more than anything. He puts a hand on Aikawa's arm, brows bunched in the middle of his forehead.]
Okay. Relax. Uh, we should probably get you somewhere to clean up. You--is it supposed to be this color? That's not good. You ever been to a doctor about this?
[ He's just going to wipe it off. It really is similar to say, you know scenes when people get stabbed and they just abruptly spit up / cough up blood, it's basically that except with black. Removing his mask so he can wipe it off on a sleeve, looking... unhappy. ]
What, there's worse than that? Who the hell were those people, anyway...?
Look! [He throws his hands up in surrender again.] Half the people here don't know a goddamn thing sometimes, I'm not going to assume.
[Though they do know a little more after being in one of these wild ass games, he imagines.]
That's us. Artemis is an Amazon. Bizarro is, you know. A badly done clone of another, better, more famous guy. Sucks. He's not a bad dude, though. That's who you reminded me of. Uh. [This makes it sound like he thinks Aikawa is a blockhead of muscle which LOOK is not entirely UNTRUE, but that isn't what he meant.] Not like... that. You know. I mean.
w3, tues
Yo. This your place, Big Guy?

By my experience, I think school itself counts as a whole as the devil cabin. But maybe Gotham is rougher than other places.

Also Aikawa is probably helping so.]
Yeah—Yeah, they are. I’m fine. Christ. Mine was just a showdown, what about yours?
no subject
Uh -- fuck. I dunno...
[ But he struggles even more about talking about this kind of stuff. ]
Must just be something weird.
no subject
[Pats Aikawa on the good arm once he's up.]
It didn't feel familiar at all to you?

No, not familiar, no.

Whoa--dude. You alright, Big Guy?
no subject
Yeah! Fine -- fuck, sorry, I just -- I dunno, I don't think... it's familiar, it must just --
It's a nightmare, I think. Forget about it...
no subject
Okay. Relax. Uh, we should probably get you somewhere to clean up. You--is it supposed to be this color? That's not good. You ever been to a doctor about this?
no subject
I've been t'a doctor plenty of times, fuck, I even worked at a hospital for a bit -- I'm fine!
[ He is not. But he'd rather not have Jason worry about it. ]
Are you good?
no subject
Okay, sheesh. [The fucking black shit is WEIRD as hell, BRO.] Yeah--yeah, I'm fine.
Been flinging around worse. Glad you didn't get the brunt of it.
no subject
What, there's worse than that? Who the hell were those people, anyway...?
no subject
Have you seen me? Yeah. [HIS BRAIN IS A MESS, don't look.] ...Artemis and Bizarro. We're outlaws.
I guess... we're a team. Something like that.
[FRIENDS...]
no subject
I mean, I dunno. You look fine to me.
...Outlaws, huh?
no subject
I'm not talking about the outside. [He shrugs one shoulder.] Yeah. You know, the people who work on the outside of the law and stuff.
[Outlaws.]
We're like... uh... the rejects.
no subject
[ The bar is rock bottom when it comes to Aikawa, and also generally anybody in his world period. Everyone is a mess. ]
I know what an outlaw is, Jason!

[ Ngl. But also. ]

...
...
[ A badly done clone, huh? lol ]
You can say I come off like a big blockhead, it's okay.
no subject
That's exactly the the thing a person who actually knows a lot of jack fuck would say.
[He gives Aikawa a look, but it turns a little regretful.] That's not what I meant... [HIS BIG MOUTH.]
He's... a friend, so. He's doing his best. You two would probably get along.
no subject
[ His vibes are smiles. ]
Yeah, I know, I'm just saying I know that's what I am. As long as it's the loveable sort, anyway.
Maybe introduce me to him sometime, if this place lets it happen?
