[Rupert gets an answer! The door opens; Jason is still a fox. He doesn't have any of his usual stuff he prowls around in on, just a red v-neck shirt and pants. He's even barefoot.
He props his right arm on the door frame; his fingers are holding his place in a book titled The Chrysalids.]
Well, well. Being visited by royalty. I'm either going to be accused of high treason, or knighted.
Ah, darn. You caught me. I'm here to arrest you with the immense amounts of authority I hold here. [as he glances towards the book:] What're you reading?
[He lowers his arm and steps back, holding the door open so Rupert can come in if he wants.]
The Chrysalids. A science fiction book about the dangers of a primitive future society who let religion and superstition dictate how they keep the last remaining humans pure.
Dunno. Maybe I would behave better if I was knighted.
[Then he could be.........the Arkham Knight. And come full circle. (no) Who did not behave any better at all.]
It's good, yeah. [He smirks at the scary part.] Good commentary on how humans are the real monsters. Has some telepaths too. Some heart-racing escapes. Wanna borrow it?
[He’s teasing. He’d never behave. Rupert knows this already though.
He folds the book closed in his hand and offers it out to Rupert who probably thought he’d hand it over when finished.]
Yeah. A lot of humans like to think beings who look like, I don’t know, Molly or people hulking like Aikawa are scary, or evil. But humans are always some of the most evil people I’ve ever seen. When they think like that especially.
Not all humans. But a good chunk of them are hypocrites.

[teasing... he tilts his head, though.]
Sure. [...] Do you really believe that, though? The really cynical humans are the real monsters thing.
