He actually sort of stumbles and catches himself because he does not expect Cloud to retaliate to his stupid ass with smooching. Biting smooching! Which he unfortunately enjoys. He sort of rubs his lips together, then bites his bottom lip with his teeth to try to keep from smirking (he's smirking anyway).
He gives Cloud a challenging look, but kisses him back.]

but he looks confused for a second before he catches on, turning a bit so jason can see the bite. it's ... healing. he has not reopened it, which is the important part. ignore that i still haven't gotten him bandages. ]

He looks like he wants to say something, but he doesn't know how without talking because it's complicated.]

He will not admit that the nuzzling becomes a bit more tender near the end as it stops and he pulls back. All he does is sort of grin smugly at Cloud. Yes. He can be worse when he is lacking the voice. He taps Cloud in the chest.
[He nods. He mouths, Sappy, then looks thoughtful. Return to him his voice, Ursula, he has given up. He digs out the notebook and a pen so he can write instead.]

[It's the only prominent thing in what happened, he absolutely knows that has to be it. And, yes, he is embarrassed enough to sort of flush. He can't believe he peeled back the onion to show Lup a piece of vulnerability, and she immediate ran and blabbed to someone else.
